The Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter serves as the hub for Steward Observatory's public astronomy outreach initiative, situated in the elevated region above Tucson, Arizona. Nestled on the summit of a magnificent Sky Island, it stands at an impressive altitude of 9,157 feet. With the esteemed authorization from the U.S. Forest Service, we are delighted to offer visitors the opportunity to experience the wonders of the universe through our state-of-the-art Schulman 32" and Phillips 24" telescopes. These remarkable instruments are among the most expansive telescopes accessible for public outreach in the entire Southwest region.
